Here at The Beekeeping Bricklayer, I do two things really well: BeeKeeping and Bricklaying.

I provide an ethical Bee removal service alongside bricklaying, specialising in removing and relocating unwelcome honey bees that have created a nest somewhere they shouldn’t have, as well as expertly repairing any damage that has been caused by the Bees or during their removal.

As a true enthusiast and member of the Pontefract and Wakefield BeeKeeping Association, I have an incredible passion for Bees, having spent countless hours researching in order to understand them better.

Unlike a pest control company, which simply kills these incredibly important insects and leaves you to repair the damage once they’re done, I instead want to provide a service that not only helps to preserve nature but also preserves your property.

That’s why any Bees that I remove are taken to a safe Bee friendly location with over 30 hives to build a new home away from properties and urban areas, and any damage caused during the work to remove them will be returned to their previous condition with the utmost skill and care.

As well as my love for Bees, I also have a lifetime of knowledge and experience in bricklaying and general minor building services, and I’m always more than happy to provide high-quality craftsmanship in order to get your property back to its former glory once I have taken away your unwelcome guests.

Josh has been at the house for the last few days, removing a BIG colony that has possibly been in the house for the last few years.

He organised the scaffold, arrived and completed the job when he said he would, and most importantly, the bees have been rehomed! The brickwork is excellent too, you'd never know the bees had ever been there.
